Born on Sunday 30 September 1960 in West-Berlin at 06.30 in the 
        morning; when aged sixteen, Desiree was a professional ballet-dancer 
        at the Deutsche Oper in Berlin. However, when about twenty years old, 
        she had grown too tall and had to quit dancing. This was a most 
        difficult time for her as her life had been inside a ballet-studio and 
        now she was forced outside this familiar world. However, she studied 
        religion and for three years became a school-teacher for the Roman 
        Catholic Church. 
              On a holiday to Paris she caught up with old friends from the 
        ballet world and was invited to dance at the Lido in Paris. Without 
        hesitation she accepted but, after a year, she went to London and fell 
        in love with the city and the life-style and, of course, a man: Mark 
        Keller. She had known him from a holiday in Greece as he had been a 
        friend of friends. She moved to London and within four weeks had 
        realised Mark Keller was not the Mr. Right for her. 
              London always will have a special place in Desiree's heart, and 
        she stayed and became an interior designer. Within the German 
        community she became popular and was invited everywhere. When she 
        started giving parties at her own home, she met many German 
        aristocrats. At one of these parties a friend, Archduke Maximilian 
        of Austria, brought along Prince Heinrich von Hannover. Heinrich fell 
        in love and for twelve years, from 1983 till 1995, they lived 
        together. They grew very close but at the same time had a stormy 
        relationship which ended when Desiree became pregnant. 
              In West Berlin on Sunday 29 September 1996 at 06.30 in the 
        morning, their son, Oscar Heinrich Julius Ferdinand, was born. 
        However, Desiree, as a well known entertainer, actress and artist, has 
        now her own entertainment show in Berlin, where she has a great 
        following. Heinrich married, fathered another son and lives in 
        Goettingen.
