f o r descendants of HARALD GASTEL
born
October 6, 1906 in Munich, Germany -my paternal uncle- His parents:
Maximilian
Gastel.
(*1874,
+1914) and Erna Henni Auguste Marie Reimann (*1880, +1943)
His story: Harald
immigrated on November 17, 1923 at the age of 17 on a ship called
"Espana"
to Buenos
Aires, Argentina. Thereafter he went to Charata Colony, Chaco County,
(which
is 100 km of Charata) to work on a farm of a Herrn de Ferris. Harald
Gastel's
last known address to us was: Charata Colony, Chaco County, F.CC.NA.
Pampa
del Infierno. Harald's brother Otto Helmuth Maximilian (my father) also
immigrated Sept. 21, 1925 with his first wife Lya and her daughter
Marigerd
(Gerda) to Buenos Aires, Argentina, to join Harald in Charata. However,
Helmuth returned to Germany with his wife Lya, her daughter Marigard
and
their son Emilio, Norberto, born 1929 in Buenos Aires, on the ship
Monte
Sarmiento to Germany on Sept. 2, 1938 due to health reasons (Malaria
and
severe Asthma). Harald stayed in Argentina. What has happend to
him??????

buscando el paradero de mi tío Harald Gastel, nacido el 6 de
Octubre
1906 en Munich, Estado de Bavaria, Alemania, bautizado 1 Abril 1907 en
Munich, Bavaria, Alemania y confirmado 2 Abril 1922 en Munich, Bavaria,
Alemania. Sus padres fueron Maximilian Gastel y Erna Hennie Auguste
Marie
Reimann. Harald Gastel emigró el 17 Noviembre 1923 en un barco
llamado
España de Hamburgo a Buenos Aires. Se trasladó a la
colonia
de Charata ,Provincia de Chaco donde fue a trabajar a la estancia o
finca
de un señor de Ferris. (a cien kilómetros de Charata) Su
hermano (mi padre) Otto Helmut Georg Max se unió a él en
1925, pero mi padre volvió a Alemania en 1938 y perdió
contacto
con él. Su última dirección fue: La Colonia de
Charata,
Chaco F.CC.NA. Pampa del Infierno
