Derbyshire Record Society 

The society was established in 1977 to publish texts, monographs and pamphlets relating to the history of the county. Anyone interested in the society's aims is welcome to join; payment of a small subscription entitles members to buy any number of publications at a substantial discount (a very good deal DCB). **DCB: I enjoyed this book, it is entirely based on original sources, anyone studying or researching 15th century Derbyshire requires this book. It provides invaluable background for the place and time, and researchers will love the extensive notes, bibliography, and appendices. **
