Ancestors of Diana, Princess of Wales
Diana Spencer (1961-1997) is a descendant of King Charles II of Great-Britain
(1630-1661) through his illigitimate son, the Duke of Grafton. The Duke's
mother, Barbara Villiers (1641-1709), was not only Charles' mistress, but
also mistress of John Churchill (1650-1722), Duke of Marlborough and another

Diana Spencer (+1735) married 1731 John of Bedford (1710-1771). It was
rumoured that Crown Prince Frederik "Poor Fred" of Great-Britain (1707-1751)
