Jean I, Comte de Ponthieu (1140-1191)

Died 30 June 1191 Acre, Palestine
Married to Laure de Saint-Valery
He was still a minor when his father died in 1147 and it was only in
1153 when he was acknowledged as Count of Ponthieu. Although he married
three times, had children only by his second wife. In 1190 he became a
crusader and went to the Middle East where, on 30 June 1191, he died near
Acre.
