Don Louis Guillaume of Portugal, Marques de Tramoso (1601-1660)
Born 26 March 1601 Delft
Died 7 July 1660 Bruxelles
Married Anna Maria Capece Galeoti de Monteleone, daughter
of Giovanni Capece Galeoti de Monteleone and Diane Spinelli

Together with his brother he received a Catholic education in France. On 29 January 1613 he was appointed a captain in the Dutch army. In 1619 his uncle, Prince Maurits, gave him permission to return to France where he joined the Order of Malta. He then went to the Spanish Court and, with the Spanish army, to Italy.
Apparently during these movements he married Anna Maria Capece Galleotti and they produced two sons. From 1630 until 1636 he was governor of Binche in Hainault. In 1636 he was mentioned as a minister in service of the Spanish king. He died in Brussels, on 7 July 1660.
