Mary Killegrew (1627-)
daughter of Sir William Killegrew and Mary
Hill, of Honilay
Born 1627
Married 18 October 1648 's-Gravenhage
Frederik van Nassau, Heer van Zuylenstein
Born 1624
Died 12 October 1672 Grevenbrugge (in battle)
Her family, favoured by the Stuarts, arranged her marriage to Frederik
van Nassau, Lord of Zuylensteyn, and they became the parents of two
sons. Later on she became lady-in-waiting to Princess Mary, the wife
of her husband's legitimate brother, Willem II, Prince of Orange.
Through her influence her husband became involved in the Buat affair
but, probably because of political and dynastic reasons, remained
unaffected by the scandal.
