Margrethe Anne Ornbo,
daughter of Karl Gerhardt Ornbo
Educated at Radley and at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge, he served
in the Second World War; in Malaya from 1949 till 1951; and in Korea in
1951 and 1952. He received the AFC and Bar; in Malaya, the King's Commendation;
and in Korea, the American DFC, Bronze Star and Air Medal. Having retired
as a Group Captain RAF, in 1960 he received an
OBE (Mil).
