son of Leicester Stanhope, 5th Earl of Harrington
and Elizabeth Williams Green
Born 27 September 1845 Ashburnham House, Chelsea
Died 22 February 1866 Cannes, France
Born at Ashburnham House, Chelsea, in 1845, he became styled Viscount
Petersham in 1851. In 1862 he succeeded his father as 6th Earl of Harrington
and on 16 October 1863 matriculated at Oxford. On 22 February 1866 he died
unmarried and only twenty-one at Cannes in France.
