Prince Waldemar of Prussia (1868-1879)
son of son of Friedrich III, Emperor of Germany, King of Prussia
and Princess Victoria of Great Britain and Ireland

Died 27 March 1879 Berlin
He became the favourite of his parents and, unlike his brothers, was
quick to learn and a pleasure to teach; he was also boisterous and high-spirited.
On 24 March 1879, aged eleven, he fell ill with
diphtheria and died three days later.
