Hans George Seckel was born in Schwabisch Hall, Germany, on April 12, 1640. The son of Wilhelm and his second wife Anna Hoffrichter. He was a butcher, married three times and the father of eight children. He first married Marie Barbara Botz on August 27, 1667. They were the parents of two children - Hans Kaspar., born 1668. Hans Baltasar., born 1673. Maria Barbara died December 17, 1677. He then married Anna Marie Hoffman on April 4, 1678. They had a son in 1679 who died and George Friedrich., born 1682. Anna Marie died when giving birth to George Friedrich in 1682. Hans George then had a child with Elizabeth Hauscheller - Anna Marie., born September 9, 1683. He then married Barbara Koch on February 13, 1683 and they had three children. Georg., born 1684. Helene Margarete., born 1689. Anna Regine., born 1698. Barbara Koch Seckel died June 1, 1714. Hans George died April 8, 1719.

Marie Elisabeth Wolf is listed as the wife of Hans Zacher (Ezechiel) Seckel in the Klaus line and #2595 Ezechiel Seckel in the Jacob line.

Both men are listed as the father of Hans David Seckel #1957 and Marie
Katharine Seckel #1976 of the Klaus line.
Date of marriage is also 5 days different, but there is more informa-
tion under the Jakob line of #2595 which leads me to believe that this
may be where they belong. See pages 392 and 403 of Seckel/Sickle

Needs more research. Marie Elisabeth Wolf is listed as the wife of # 1918, Hans Zacher (Ezechiel) Seckel in the Klaus line and #2595 Ezechiel Seckel in the Jakob line.

Both men are listed as the father of Hans David Seckel #1957 and Marie Katharine Seckel #1976 of the Klaus line.

Date of marriage is also 5 days different, but there is more information under the Jakob line of #2595 which leads me to believe that this may be where they belong. See pages 392 and 403 of Seckel/Sickle Family Heritage.
