Introduction

Genealogical ties that bind mankind together have always been important,  especially so when the only accepted form of government was a monarchy.  They gave the world an understandable form of government until mankind,  in general, became better educated  and other forms of government evolved.

However, some aspects of royalty seem to have disappeared with the  monarchical system. Which President would build himself a Versailles, or  would have portraits painted of a potential bride?

The special world that divided mankind into classes, is slowly disappearing,  but much of it is still around us. And it is the human side of people we  try to preserve, the knowledge how they were related to each other,  as well as what they looked like. However, as a family tree without  supplying some biographical details about these people is a very empty knowledge, attempts are made to supply biographical details, however brief.
